Here are the trends that are BIG in 2009!

Rich strong colour. Peeps of vibrant colour placed sparingly. Rich coppers chocolates and moccas. Caramel and soft strawberry blondes. Try something new and shiny for this seasons hot looks....

Seen at the latest Valentino parade straight, straight hair. Flick your ghd to on, hit your hair with lashings of hydro milk leave in conditioner from SP then High hair flat iron spray. Heat protect your hair, from blowdrying and ghd'ing. After all those years of curls, Straight has returned. Go over your hair only once, with your iron; to keep your hair healthy and conditioned. Healthy shiny hair is in. Shimmer spray helps you to achieve this (try tigis headrush shine) Handy hint, comb your hair with a large wide tooth comb before styling and straightening. Takes your straightening from good to perfect without any tangles.

Haircuts are alot more structured yet soft in the internal layers. This seasons look is for the rounder softer bob. Fringes are being cut straight and full.Try an undercut and hidden texture with your bobs to give you a choice of looks. Short softer rounder styles are also being seen in one strong solid colour. Corporate by day vixen by night!

Side parts are big! Its simple to do and incredibly sexy. Wear hair with a low side part or a low side swept fringe, and reinvent your style each day. All it takes is getting that part perfectly neat.

Stylishly slicked and super wet. The runway favourite. Apply gel from the front hairline thru to the crown. Slick hair back with soft fingered waves or combed super straight - then brush out hair naturally from the crown, down to the nape, for a simple soft elegant evening look. The parting varies from a severe middle part to a deep side parted look. High hair Flubber gives you the perfect wet gel look. Ask us how!

Wild organic knots and side buns. Section hair into two sections. Pop your hair in a soft bun from behind the ears and crown section to the back - leaving the front out. (A low pony tail is easiest.) Plait your ponytail, tease and knead the plait till its messy; pin in place and softly re tease with the tips of your fingers. Hit the front of your hair with the flat iron spray, crimp the sides and pin them loosely into or over the top of your bun. Simple and sexy.

Natural movement. Curl your hair then brush it out. Length and movement. Quirk your look up with some light teasing and hair accessories. Dishevelled hair that looks like you woke up sexy is in..... What better way to balance out a glamorous frock than teaming it with glamorous I dont care hair! (Seen at Anna Sui, Chloe and Karen Walker)

The 80's are back. No more flouro colours, but disco curls are in. (Think Farrah in the 80's in her red swimsuit) Using your big round brush, blowdry hair away from the face in a soft wave. Brush out and finish with 6 or 7 random tonged curls. Strangely the 80's crimp has also returned. Whether its a few pieces or the whole head. Experiment then pop on your white waistcoat and suit with some killer heels. (Check out the latest Zac posen) Perfect.

Care, care, care. Like skin hair dries out in our Queensland climate. Leaving it prone to split ends and frizz. Apply a weekly hydrating treatment after you have come in for a gentle trim to start your Summer off right. System Professional power mask for damaged, enrich with cashmere for coarse and dry or hydro mask for finer damaged hair is our top reccomendation. Or visit your local bossy salon for an intense conditioning treatment. Relax and enjoy a 10 minute scalp massage in our sublime basin chairs, hot towels, with a hot oil treatment left for 20 mins to seal all those dry ends. Great for problem scalps too.
